How did we start?
Our company entered the market in 2013 as a part of the newly formed Schemnitz Group (Schemnitz was the original German name of Banská Štiavnica), from which our current name - SG AUTO - is derived. Thanks to this cooperation, we managed to acquire valuable know-how at the very beginning of our journey. This allowed us to progress quickly and provide clients with above-standard benefits.
It all started with the first eight cars and gradually more were added. We have always put our customers first. We know that the automotive market is a very competitive and dynamic environment. To prove that cooperation with us is the right choice and to guarantee maximum quality, we constantly looked for ways to adapt to new trends and requirements as flexibly as possible. Thanks to the large number of ordered vehicles, we can obtain interesting conditions from our suppliers and thus bring you only the best offers. We gradually gained the trust of even such a strong financial partner as Raiffeisen bank. Today, SG AUTO is one of the largest companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in its field. We have already successfully delivered almost 18,000 vehicles to our partners.
The logo and its message
It's no coincidence that the SG AUTO logo is rose gold. Banská Štiavnica (Schemnitz in German) was an important center of trade and mining in the 10th century.
Gold symbolizes strength and stability. However, pure gold itself is not suitable for making jewelry because it is too soft. It's the same with people – we need a quality combination of strength, durability and firmness, but also humanity. This is the only way to create a mixture with a high potential for sustainable development. Copper, which gives gold its soft pink color, is one of the most durable metals. Thanks to it, the resulting rose gold product is more durable.
In addition, some metals lose their luster over time due to chemical reactions with air but rose gold does not.
SG AUTO wants to continue with this principle. We are actively and constantly looking for the right combination of people, solutions and approaches to achieve success and thus build long-term partnerships.
Our vision
During the years, we have built strong relationships with official dealers and importers of various brands of passenger cars. Thanks to these long-term relationships we, together with our business partners, can manage even turbulent periods and frequent changes that have become a regular part of our working life in recent years.
We want to continue to create long-term relationships with both suppliers and customers and build a space where real values are more important than profit. Despite of the growth and constant changes in the market and in car production, we still emphasize our values. We keep our word and rely on fair business relations and an individual approach to the customer.
